Moog 1973 Minimoog Model D - OptoKey

This is the second time we've had this synth - it had an extensive service/overhaul at a cost of $1400 at This Old Synth in the USA before we acquired it a couple of years back - including fitting a non-midi Opto Key system for more precise and reliable keyboard response. It will ship following a calibration and check over by our in-house synth tech, James Walker.

We always look for Minis with the original oscillator board installed as we much prefer the sound - fitting an octave buffer board improves stability significantly; we've had a few early Minis with later osc boards and found them far less engaging sonically.

Condition

It's in very good condition overall - 5 of the original knobs have been replaced with brand new ones. The case is in excellent condition for its age, click on the photos to zoom in and see more detail.

Voltage Information

117/120v model. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
