Product Description
Victor (JVC) MI-5000 mixer for sale.
Super clean example - most of these are not so well preserved.
Rocking a wonderful early 80s boom box aesthetic, this home studio mixer has a great sound when you drive the mic preamps. The master slider is back lit, as are the VU meters - you don't need them to be, but you're just very glad they are. Casing is all dark grey plastic and angled edges which is no surprise when you realise that Victor is better known as "JVC", surely among the kings of that style of 80s electronics.
It has six channels which can be panned left or right. All can be accessed via the mic preamps (jack sockets on the front which is a nice touch for easy access). No EQ or effects send on this one, but it has a built in reverb ("echo") that is short and staccato - almost more like a short delay.
