This is not a dead silent mixer and should be embraced by those who love items like the fisher space expander and grampian line at large. We personally use these on loud guitar cabs when we want commit three or four mics down to a single track on tape.
An often overlooked piece from the early solid-state era of American broadcast equipment, the 212Z is a 4x1 compact and portable microphone mixer with significant gain and headroom. This unit was fully serviced by Thump and will ship with a set of 4 custom adapters to interface the 212Zs cannon connectors with modern microphone equipment. These used to be battery powered portable mixers used for college football games etc.
