Soundgas & the Boss "Cause & Effects" Exhibition

Soundgas & the Boss "Cause & Effects" Exhibition

Cause & Effects: 40 Years of Boss History HEADLINE NEWS: we're coming to London with a stack of vintage Roland gear - if you're able to get to House of Vans on the afternoon of Sunday September 10th then come and say hello. Cause & Effects: 40 Years of Boss History This was already very cool - Boss celebrating their 40th year by gathering every pedal and a load of other effects into one cool space in the tunnel exhibition gallery at House of Vans in London. The exhibition runs for two weeks and includes an opening weekend Sept 9th/10th with a gig and workshops - read more about those via that link. But it got a lot cooler (in our opinion) when they asked us to supply them with several Space and Chorus echoes so they could have one of every model (including the early RE-100 and 200 models) included. They say:
"House of Vans have joined forces with BOSS and Roland to bring to Waterloo Tunnels Cause & Effects, a ten-day celebration of four decades of guitar technology. For this exclusive take-over, BOSS and Roland have assembled an unparalleled collection of guitar technology, workshops and artist appearances." Read more here...
So yes - if you want to buy your Space Echo from the same people that Roland come to for them, then you know who to call. See our current echo listings along with other tasty vintage Roland goodies here (but if you don't see what you want get in touch as we usually have more coming through). However, in addition to supplying tape echoes they also asked us to get involved in the opening day workshops on Sunday 10th. We'll have a mountain of Roland gear (see below) for people to get their hands on and make noises with, and we'll also be doing some demos of some of the gear. Obviously we'll have Space Echoes and Chorus Echoes, but we'll also be using old drum machines and some classic synths as sound sources for people to put the effects through their paces. And we'll have some of the early Roland pedals and some other rare rack units as well. Vintage Roland Gear - Space Echo, TR-55, PA-150 If you're in London, it's free to get in - come and say hello and ask us for free stuff. And if you aren't able to come by then we'll be posting during the weekend that we're down on our instagram and facebook, including some live broadcasts between 2 and 5pm on the Sunday that we'll be trailing in advance. ========== Tony Miln is the co-founder (& Head Gear Head) of Soundgas.
