Product Description
A solid state spring reverb from a company that design amps. The aim here was to create the classic sound of a vintage reverb amp and they have done a great job. Also recommended by none other than Mike Analog Man.
We picked up a couple of these when Tony was working on his Lords Of The Springs article for Premier Guitar. In the end that article focused on vintage reverbs, but of the new pedals we tested as part of that process the VanAmps Sole-mate was the best thing we heard, with real character and a rich sound from the three springs.
This is our demo unit from that time.
IMPORTANT: While it's been sat on the shelf it has developed a problem - right now the reverb seems to be there but is very quiet and the pedal is not useable as it is. We don't have time to investigate so this is auctioned as is (with no warranty).
VanAmps Sole-Mate Premier Guitar review has lots of info.
VOLTAGE: Takes a 12v AC (not DC!) power supply (not included).
