Ursa Major Space Station SST-282 - SN 1750-2A
Ursa Major Space Station SST-282 - serviced vintage digital delay & reverb processor: unlike most you'll find, this one has had many hours bench time from our senior tech and an early digital specialist to ensure perfect operation and future relaibility.
Please note, the photos were taken pre-cleaning/servicing (full set to follow).
For sale: this freshly serviced Ursa Major Space Station SST-282, the iconic early digital multi-tap delay, reverb, and ambience processor with a characterful analogue sound and unique sonic signature unlike any other effect. These seldom come up for sale and rarely in fully-overhauled/future-proofed studio-ready condition.
This unit has had a total electronic overhaul and calibration by us and also by a specialist in early digital hardware for optimum operational reliability. It has been fully recapped, including the essential replacement of all tantalum capacitors - a known failure point that must be addressed to ensure long-term reliability. Most units on the market have not had this critical work done, making them a ticking time bomb. Any one of the many tantalums in these units can fail at any time if not replaced - and often when they do, they take out other components making repair time-consuming and expensive. This one is now rock-solid and ready to deliver perfect performance for years to come.
The Ursa Major SST-282 Space Station is a classic studio processor that stands on its own: versatile whether using it for reverb, delay, echo, or cosmic ambience effects. Its distinctive multi-tap delays and reverbs shine on synths, guitars, drums, vocals - anywhere you may want otherworldly depth and space with a distinctly vintage digital flavour.
