Product Description
Roland VX-55 mixer for sale.
These 70s Roland mixers sound great, especially when you overdrive the inputs - can really add punch to DAW beats and synths and have a superb built-in spring reverb (equivalent to the RE-201 spring). We've been getting lots of positive feedback from customers using them to add texture and colour to drum machines, synths etc. Check the stock list (link above) for more models.
Output is via a single, mono 1/4" jack at the rear. Also has an effect send and return which can be assigned to any of the channels in place of the internal spring reverb. Note that, unlike some VX-55s, this one does not have the phono and aux option on the first two channels - instead all six channels are identical.
Has had some service work here including power supply overhaul, however in order to keep the price down we have stopped short of a "full service" which would include recapping all the channels (not hard, but time-consuming). The pots and switches will certainly benefit from additional cleaning as they still have some crackle, although much of that may also clear with regular use.
Work done:
No further warranty on this item, however we of course guarantee it will arrive as described.
