Roland SH-101 / Analogue Solutions Mod

Roland SH-101 for sale. This one came to us with the Analogue Solutions mods added. Information is hard to find on these online, but the labels give an idea of what additional voltages in and out they give access to, and with some trial and error you'll soon work it out. The drilling on the sockets is a little wobbly, however the mods all work and the original functionality of the synth is not affected.

Essentially what you have is an analogue monophonic bass synth with more than a little TB-303 sonic influence; they were (and still are) used by a whole slew of electronic music pioneers from rave purveyors 808 State and The Prodigy to industrial noise-mongers Nitzer Ebb and KMFDM to experimentalists Boards of Canada and Squarepusher.

Requires a 9v or 12v DC Centre Negative power supply (no included). Note that you cannot use a cheap switching supply with these (or you will get interference). If you don't have an old fixed voltage supply then we recommend a new Boss branded one for these.

Condition

In excellent cosmetic condition with minimal signs of age or wear to the face. The battery compartment is clean with no signs of battery leakage or damage. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.
