Roland RE-150 Space Echo - Mint!

Very rare example of a virtually mint RE-150. Beautiful.

Simpler than the 201/301/501 models, the 150 has three replay heads, switchable between single or repeat echoes, and of course varispeed for accurate tempo-matching. But... the RE-150 is actually quite a different machine to the RE-101/201 - most of the electronics inside are different and the end result is machine that does something different sonically. That "something" we like very much (magic with beats, and when slightly overdriven generally) and we'll be devoting a whole page of our Roland Echo pages to these machines soon...

This RE-150 is for sale serviced and fitted with a new tape. Excellent working order throughout. Guaranteed to give reliable service.

CONDITION: Very near mint. The face has no blemishes to the decals and the only signs of age are some scratches around the input jacks. The tolex is very clean with no notable signs of wear. The internal surfaces are superb, there is no oxidation on the chromed surfaces. It comes complete with original Japanese instruction sheet and tape changing sticker, the sticker can be swapped out for an English Soundgas one upon purchase. There are currently no operational issues with this machine, but please be aware that these units require looking after and that regular use and maintenance are key to keeping this in good working order.

There are no crackly pots or noisy switch issues, though some crackle may develop when it’s not been used for a while - this can usually be rectified by repeated turns of the pot.
