Product Description
Publison Infernal Machine for sale. These are just incredible. Believe the hype. Worth the pain of getting them back to full working order for sure. It's definitely a case of RTFM* as there's a learning curve, but it's well worth the effort - this thing is in a league of its own.
Publisons are now impossible to source in reliable working condition: if they've not had a recent complete overhaul by the only tech who knows them inside out, then it matters not if they're 'currently working well'. Once they ship/move, the trouble begins: we have learned this over many years - optimism is always vanquished by experience.
If you see a Publison for sale 'working fine' (or indeed 'serviced'), approach it as you would a lottery or timebomb. An expensive doorstop or rack-candy.
There is only one tech in the world we (and the estate of M Dean, founder of Publison) trust to do these right, and his waiting list is currently closed at around 6 months.
The only way we can continue to sell these incredible units is by preorder: we manage the restoration process and deliver the best example possible to our customers.
Please only consider preordering this if you are prepared to be very patient!
"Why are you selling it?" is a fair question, and the answer is that as early digital obsessives we already have one (and a DHM 89 B2) in our studio.
