Product Description
MPC Electronics "the KIT Integrated Electronic Drum Machine" for sale.
Short demo of another of these below.
The "MPC" that came before the MPC... Designed by Clive Button and produced in Cambridge, England around 1981, it's fair to say that these are extremely rare. This one has the original box and packaging which must make it one of a handful of units in this kind of condition.
It has two triggers, automatic hi hats if you want them and some killer sounds. The snare is a incredible and the kick has a similar level of analogue heft to the legendary MPC-1. The cymbals are something of a love it or hate it sound - very metallic.
This is a later version which seems to have had a few minor revisions inside, but the only thing you can see externally is the useful addition of a trigger out from the Clap.
Note that we have done work on this to make it function correctly but have not done a full recap.
Runs off batteries or a 9v supply with a mini-jack barrel (not included).
