It's a mono unit however there are two delay lines which allow for the range of different effects it can produce from delay through to chorus (that puts most modern effects to shame) and smooth, syrupy flanging.
The 16 (sixteen!) SAD512 BBD chips are themselves rare enough, and with that many across the two delays you know this thing will have that perfect vintage delay smoothness.
