Inward Connections Vac Rac 4000

The Vac Rac 4000 by Inward Connections is a signal processing module with space for 4 modules, a proprietary system similar to a 500 series rack. First made in the early 90s. Amazing quality components and a secret weapon in many premium studios from the 90s onwards.

This unit from the private studio of Andrew Hale (Sade) and used on many projects over the last 20 years, has the following 4 modules:

• TMP-1 Tube Mic preamp


• TLM-1 Tube Limiter


• TEQ-1 Tube Step Equaliser


• TII-1 Instrument Interface

Each with separate I/O on the rear they can be combined in a modular fashion in various signal chain combinations.

Steve Firlotte from Inward Connections went on to work with Ian Gardiner of Boutique Audio and Design and formed Tree Audio who make the Roots tube hybrid console amongst other products which is one of the most highly sought after boutique consoles, used by Alessandro Cortini, Emile Haynie and Flea amongst others.
