The Hawk HR-15 "Echo Unit" is a very simple piece of gear, in theory just for adding reverb to vocals from on or two mics. Two quarter inch input sockets on the front and one for output on the back is all you get, plus a control for the amount of reverb. The sound quality is good, especially for the size of the unit and we like this one with just a little bit of reverb dialled in; however, as with all these units (for us anyway) the real action is when you abuse and overdrive them, putting things like drum machines through the mic inputs. Great crunchy distortion if you can get the input signal hot enough.
