Product Description
Fostex 350 8-Channel Mixer for sale, complete with the additional meter bridge. Designed to pair with the Fostex A-8 tape machine, but these sound great and are useful as a standalone unit as well.
Read the 1982 mu:zines review for more information (worth it for the photo of Human League on the cover!).
From that article:
This is a versatile 8x4x2 mixer designed for recording, mixdown and PA applications and uses unbalanced input/outputs, as well as a routing system that offers maximum scope from this unit...
Our mini review is that it overdrives well with plenty of pleasant crunch and sonic glue as you'd expect from this era of gear. Clearly there were some compromises on build quality in order to keep it affordable (a lot of plastic and fixing it requires a lot of dismantling!), but the functionality is great. Note that the fixing points for the meter bridge had been damaged in the past but have been repaired - these are weak point so take care!
