Fender Deluxe Reverb 1968 (AB763 blackface circuit)

Fender Deluxe Reverb combo valve/tube amp for sale.

Dating from 1968, the circuit is almost identical to the AB763 blackface circuit. The only difference is a few different resistor values in the phase splitter circuit. It could be modded to blackface spec, but we'd leave it as built - buyer can request if they prefer.

All original where it counts: choke, reverb and output transformers all date from 1968.

The power transformer has been changed for a modern 110v replacement. If the buyer wishes we can source and fit a new 2220/240v transformer for an additional cost of £160 plus vat.

Service will be performed after purchase and will include:

• Making the mains wiring safe and disconnecting the power outlet.


• Re-capping: electrolytics and smoothing caps.


• Plus all the usual cleaning and tweaking for an amp of this vintage.

 

 

Condition

In very good overall condition with the usual scratches and scuffs to the face. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.

Voltage Information

117/120v model. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
