Soundgas are pleased to offer for sale this beautiful Minimoog Model D in superb cosmetic condition and excellent working order.

It's just been serviced and calibrated by James Walker at Synth Repair Services, including a full overhaul of the keyboard bushings.

It's been converted from 110v to 240v operation (this is reversible).

This instrument is in excellent original condition - dating from 1978, it's a late model to still have the original oscillator board which is essential in our opinion for the classic Mini sound: models with the revised (and more stable) board pay a price sonically for the improved practicality. Aside from a small crack in the Mod Wheel and a couple of minor dings in the woodwork, it's in exceptionally clean condition.

It sounds and plays every bit as good as it looks and is not only a superb player's instrument, but also an excellent investment for the future. Please see detailed pictures below.

We've had this up against the other earlier Minis we have in stock (71 and 72) and while there's something smoother/creamier in the filter in the very early units, it's a close thing. In our experience, having the earlier oscillator board is vital to achieve that classic fat, early/mid 70s big sound that Minis are renowned for (my 72 orginally had a later osc board upgrade and sounded very weedy compared to this synth - fitting an earlier board really brought it back to life).

There are no known operational faults with this unit. (Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used - even during a short delivery period - this can usually be easily rectified either by use or with a squirt of Caig Deoxit).

It's a UK 240v model so will require a step-up transformer for use in USA/Canada - or it can be returned to 100v operation.

We are passionate about supplying high quality vintage gear to our customers and go the extra mile to ensure complete satisfaction.
