Product Description
Audio Developments AD146 10 Channel Mixer for sale.
Complete with power supply.
These came with three possible channel specs - this one has the stereo channels with all inputs on balanced XLR. These have a mic input but no phantom power. The channels also have continuous gain control option rather than stepped gain.
Scroll through the photos to see three shots with all the controls labelled (shots copied from the Audio Developments site).
Built for mobile sound recording and post-production, these are packed with features and built to a very high standard. What you get in the footprint is pretty remarkable. Highlights include inputs, main and auxiliary outputs all transformer balanced on XLRs; separate connectors are used for microphone and line-level inputs: such is the isolation, both input signals can remain connected at all times; high-pass filter protects the transformer against low-frequency saturation.
Head to the Audio Developments site for a comprehensive break down of the spec and controls on this lovely piece of equipment.
Serviced and in full working order, with the caveat that we have not tested the send/return function on it as it is not a traditional effects send, and it requires a custom six-pin cable (our assumption is that it is connected with broadcast use).
You may also spot that channel 5 has clearly been swapped in from elsewhere. It looks slightly different (the gain pot is labelled "offset") but functions the same way as the others and sounds the same.
