Product Description
Two track 1/4 inch 350 machine with matching suitcases in absolutely incredible condition.
Information from the seller:
"This machine has been completely restored electrically by us and had the head stack sent to John French who is a true magician. The heads have over 90% head life left AFTER the relapping process which usually knocks them down a few percent. (See attached JRF report)
All electrolytics replaced. Any noisy resistors have been replaced. All the original tubes are testing with great results. We used high quality vishay sprague axial capacitors and CE can capacitors. The common leaky AC motor start capacitors have been replaced. The screening on the back of the units is usually quite beat up and there's hardly any indication this unit was even used!
The story goes that the gentleman who owned this bought it for some high school recital recordings but never convinced the school it was necessary for students to hear the recordings back... so it sat.
I've honestly never seen another complete set like this for sale."
