Once upon a time one of our favourite producers asked us to do a ten pedal fuzz shootout so he could choose one to use with beats. He chose one of these.
With a pitch-doubling circuit before the diode clipping fuzz, this generates those superb thick gnarly octave rich fuzz tones. Very reminiscent of the Univox Super-Fuzz, Shaftesbury Duo Fuzz, etc. The sound is what counts: it's basically two very different shades of monstrous filth - ripping chainsaw fuzz or brutal octave-ish wildness.
