This version was released at the same time as the II, so has the same updated DAC and much of functionality, however it is mono and retains the small screen of the original. This makes it an ideal candidate to pair with the Dtronics DT-7 Programmer as not only does that really open up the possibilities of the synth, and largely relieve you of needing to use the tiny screen, but it has the processing power to work with well with the Programmer.
