Product Description

Yamaha CP-70B Electric Grand Piano for sale. This model was released in 1978 and featured stable tuning (unlike the original CP-70).

This cream/white version was used by James Righton for his touring and videos for his album "The Performer" (the photo above is him on stage supporting LCD Sound System). It has been serviced and maintained to a high standard, however, as with any instrument of this type and age, the buyer should be prepared to have it adjusted on arrival and maintained with periodic servicing.

Complete with stand, foot pedal, and European power supply (with UK adaptor) - it takes a 12v DC supply with an XLR connector.

Fully flight-cased to a very high standard with both cases mounted on a wheeled trolley. Extremely heavy - see below for shipping information.

SHIPPING: The piano is here with us in Derbyshire, UK. The buyer can collect but will need a van in order to do so. We can ship it within the UK or to much of Europe using our own private couriers if required. The cost will depend very much on location but approximate figures are £200 for central UK and £500+ to Europe. Freight to the USA using professional shippers is possible - please ask if you need more information, however please note the cost is likely to be considerably more than £1000 for something of this size.

Commission sale on behalf of a client. If you have gear that you want us to look at selling on your behalf then please look at our Commission & Consignment page for more information and get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Condition

It's a beautiful thing and has been very well looked after. The custom work was done a few years ago so the finish is much newer than the instrument itself. There are various scuffs and small tears on edges, but overall it presents well, and it can easily be improved with a little time spent on it. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.
