Brand: Vox
Sorry it's gone. We may have another in stock or on the way. Please enquire below (or check our weekly Gear Update for incoming rarities).
Vox AC100 mk2 valve (tube) amp head for sale fully serviced and working very well indeed.
Made in Great Britain in 1967, these amps were developed for British bands of the sixties who needed more volume - the Beatles, the Stones, the Who, the Yardbirds etc...
Certainly not an amp for the faint-hearted.
Lots of volume and lovely vintage Vox tone.
Major internal components (transformers etc) are original.
Cosmetically there's no escaping that it is in somewhat scruffy condition - see the detailed photos. The handle is broken, the tolex is worn in places, the face plate has three small holes where a switch was installed, and the rear panel has extra holes. The original Bulgin mains cable is present and all parts removed during the service are included.

“I’ve bought a number of items from Soundgas recently, and have been really impressed with their service. It takes the stress out of buying vintage gear to know it’s been properly (and faithfully) serviced or restored. Their after-sales service has also been exemplary. Highly recommended.”
