Vestax DDG-1 Digital Delay Pedal SN 1313

Vestax DDG-1 digital delay for sale in good condition and full working order. These are uncommon units with very little documented information online, but they’re a firm favourite at Soundgas.

Clearly originally designed for both DJ use and creative studio processing, this unassuming little box is something of a secret weapon and offers features missing from much bigger and more expensive pedals.

Stereo digital delay with 2 x RCA inputs and outputs on the rear panel. Compact, simple and highly effective, it offers a distinctly musical digital tone - smooth and warm at short delay times, quickly getting more crunchy, gritty and full of character at longer settings.

Key features include modulation on the feedback circuit, allowing for both subtle tape-like repeats through to full on metallic, flanger-like tones at the shortest delays. The Hold switch unleashes wild feedback loops and sweeps, while flicking rapidly between delay time settings results in unpredictable and highly usable glitch and stutter effects - reminiscent of our much loved Lexicon Prime Time 93.

A creative and inspiring box for live/DJ sets, dub processing, lo-fi and experimental sound design. Hard to find - and even harder to stop using once plugged in.
