UREI LA-4 Silverface Compressor / Limiter Pair
Commission sale. A pair of these classic Urei LA-4s in excellent order. In very good cosmetic condition with some marks and scratches showing across the case. Most of the wear is on the top of the unit as shown in the photos so is not visible when racked.
These followed the LA-3 but feature IC chips and an LED-based optical element, rather than being Class A with T4 opto cell as in the LA-3.
Ratios are 2:1, 4:1, 8:1, 12:1, and 20:1. Stacked-pot controls as follows: Threshold/Ratio, Output Level/Meter - similar to the 1176 layout. Stereo switchable with an LED Power indicator. Input Overload LED below the rotary control.
110/240v Unit.
