Our dream console (and we're not alone): it has long been our ambition to have a Tree Audio Roots here. Sadly this one is not actually here with us, so for now we have to make do with it just being for sale on our site. This doesn't stop us staring longingly at the pictures...
If you're seriously looking at bringing this beautiful slab into your set up then you probably don't need to know the spec, but it is included below. There you will also find information on how our brokerage sales work.
This first generation Roots 8 Channel console was originally owned by Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails) and has seen regular use with its second owner since 2017. It is all working with the following noted minor issues (which the seller is aiming to have rectified before shipping):
Full working order; recently checked over and minor issues fixed.

Stem info:
The Tree Audio Stem is a submixer designed to be used as part of a Roots mixing console or as a stand-alone summing mixer.
The Stem by Tree Audio features 8 input channels each featuring level controls, pan, as well as a mute/on/solo three-way switch. The master section includes two outputs and a big master level control. A stereo buss insert is also included allowing the connection of a mixbuss compressor or EQ. An insert bypass switch lets you engage the insert point.
Inside the 3U summing mixer can be found SP690 all discrete class A op amps designed to offer increased headroom.

- Discrete Class A Solid State buss and master section
- Fully regulated Vacuum tube and linear power supplies
- Four slots for 500 Series modules
- plus the The Stem 8 x 2 submixer included with the console (at the top of the left-hand rack in the shots - more info below).
