Get the French house sound on your pedalboard or in your studio! This is a compact stereo ducking compressor that's designed for ease of use. There are many creative possibilities that go way beyond donning your helmet and dancing round your studio pretending to be Daft Punk, but this is also an option!
The basic principle is very simple: there are instrument/line inputs and outputs, as well as trigger inputs. Whenever the pedal detects a signal at a trigger input, the audio from the instrument/line inputs is ducked. It's also known as side-chain compression.
Its unique design is the missing piece for easy, trouble-free side-chain compression on stage and in studio. Instantly ready, it delivers analogue ducking magic, without any need for other accessories.
The Pedal is developed by a musician, who understands what musicians wish for and need: 100% focus on functionality, musicality and sound quality. Made entirely in Switzerland without any compromises.
The Pill features a passive, optical compression circuit (hello LA-2A!). Crucial parts are hand-selected, measured, matched and finally calibrated by ear.
All it does is ducking. It's its core purpose. The Pill connects the energy of two musicians together. It can make a flat sound more vibrant, rhythmically always linked to another instrument. It's moving music, making it more lively, letting it breathe along with other instruments. It creates an organic sound with more depth. It’s all about groove. It’s bouncing.
