Synclavier II S-2 - SN 01110 K

Synclavier II S-2 - SN 01110 K for auction from the John Paul Jones studio collection. Includes the (very heavy) flightcased computer tower (serial CC1110C) and two power supplies. No connecting cables are present.

Currently untested - you must assume that it's not working. It was excavated from a flightcase where it's clearly sat untouched for decades - the level of foam disintegration was significant (hats off to our apprentice, Sam for doing such a great job cleaning it up).

John told me that this is not the sampling version - we are placing it in the hands of our head synth tech, James Wallker, for further investigation but my hunch is this will not function without an extensive and expensive restoration.

Condition Report:

In superb, seemingly near mint condition and has been kept extremely well. There are some marks to the wooden casing around the edges and some noticeable scratches on the back but it is otherwise in fantastic cosmetic condition.
