After extensive development and testing, we are excited to introduce the RE-2101 - a single chassis stereo Space Echo based on an original vintage RE-101 platform. This machine delivers full stereo functionality with enhanced features with the convenient form factor of a standard Space Echo.

The RE-2101 represents the culmination of years of research and development, incorporating additional features whilst delivering a practical, sonically exceptional stereo Space Echo. Multiple test units have been built and extensively tested to ensure reliable performance at each stage of the project.

Motor Slow Speed Modification:

This modification allows switching the motor speed to a much slower range with its own speed control, creating longer, darker repeats. The mod has been in development for over a year but can require additional adjustment over time.

What do you mean by Prototype?

This project is an ongoing development - we have been refining and adjusting our designs and modifications over the course of many years. This machine is a part of that process: the design and mods may change over time, but we are confident that this machine will delight and inspire while remaining reliable into the future.

One tape, one motor, one set of stereo heads. Early preamps, internal pingpong mixing plus optional motor slow speed/stop mod. Individually selectable head patterns, echo volume and feedback for each channel.

It is either stereo in/out or mono in/stereo out and features an internal pingpong mixing option as well as our early preamp mod. The motor slow/stop mod can be added as an extra cost option.

The shipping prices for our gear vary considerably depending on the type of gear, value and destination. Our returns policy is 14 days, but we will always endeavour to seek a mutually satisfactory solution to any issues that arise. If 14 days have elapsed from receipt of goods, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange,

You must retain the original packing materials and utilise them for any return – if this is not possible, you must return goods using packaging that matches the level of protection we employ: failure to do so may result in us refusing the return.

Goods must be returned in the same condition as supplied to remain eligible for a full refund. Important: in the case of new items, they must also be in the original packaging which, aside from any seals etc, must also be in mint condition (please take care with this); we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 25% if this is not adhered to.
