Roland VX-120A Stereo Mixer
Roland VX-120A Stereo Mixer
Brand: Roland
Sorry it's gone. We may have another in stock or on the way. Please enquire below (or check our weekly Gear Update for incoming rarities).
Vintage mixer amp, serviced and ready for action. External effect send, stereo pan pots and great EQ. Great characterful sound when driven.
Click on the photos to zoom in and see the controls in detail. We've had several different versions of these 70s/80s Roland mixers come through - these stereo versions of the "rack" configured ones are not common. This one has no built in effect but has an external send.
Serviced and working well. The pots and switches are fine, though it's possible that some crackle may develop over time, especially when unused - this will usually clear with use. The amp section has not been tested with speakers attached (note you will need a fairly powerful voltage transformer to use it for this purpose - output around 500va).
Condition is excellent with minor signs of age. No handle on the top and one knob is missing its silver cap. Click on the photos to zoom in and see more shots.
For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
- It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is essential for extended use.
- A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
- A 100va unit will work with it unless you are using the internal amp to drive speakers, in which case you will need a 500va one.
- We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

“I’ve bought a number of items from Soundgas recently, and have been really impressed with their service. It takes the stress out of buying vintage gear to know it’s been properly (and faithfully) serviced or restored. Their after-sales service has also been exemplary. Highly recommended.”
