CONDITION:

The condition is extraordinary. It appears that this unit has barely been used – the original factory patterns are still present. Incredibly, the Roland batteries are still in place and showing full charge. There is a touch of fading due to light exposure: this is most evident on one of the coloured buttons and one knob cap, and on the Start/Stop button. It also has one noticeable but very small scratch on the top edge of the face. Aside from these minor flaws, it is pristine with that unmistakeable original factory sheen to the finish – it looks truly stunning. All knobs and buttons have a very satisfying firm, “new” feel. Comes with the original Japanese plastic overlay that’s done such a good job of protecting and Japanese manuals. We seldom see 808s as clean as this, and have never found one that appears to be unused: this is a truly exceptional example. An investment that you can enjoy…

We have sold many excellent 808s to satisfied customers so you can buy with confidence.

  • It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
  • A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
  • We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
