Roland RS-505 Paraphonic
Roland RS-505 Paraphonic
Brand: Roland
Sorry it's gone. We may have another in stock or on the way. Please enquire below (or check our weekly Gear Update for incoming rarities).
Superb string/bass synth for sale serviced and calibrated by our synth tech. A rare and stunning-sounding synth that just oozes seventies cosmic goodness. We only got our first one of these recently but we've really fallen for the sound of these. See below for Instagram demos of another of these units in action.
One of the most flexible and fine sounding analogue string/bass synths ever made with particularly lush sounding strings - the release is lovely.
The synth section has a that superb squelchy Roland filter - great bass sounds.
Quadruple BBD modulation effects - stereo chorus, ensemble and flanger modes - audio input allows you to use the modulation on external sources.
Cosmetic condition is excellent. Wooden end panels are very clean as is the face. Metal sections are showing minor oxidation. Overall it's exceptional for one of these instruments. Please see detailed photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
- It is a 110v (converted from 100v Japanese)
- A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
- We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

“I’ve bought a number of items from Soundgas recently, and have been really impressed with their service. It takes the stress out of buying vintage gear to know it’s been properly (and faithfully) serviced or restored. Their after-sales service has also been exemplary. Highly recommended.”

“Imagine the perfect eBay.... with everything you never knew you wanted… and you can rest assured that your vintage and rare wobbly sound device will turn up on time and in one piece and possibly in even better condition that when it left the workshop. Soundgas - literally amazing."
