We love these old Roland PA mixers and this early model from the 70s has particularly satisfying and rich distortion when driven hard. Same pedigree as the Boss KM mixers...

We don't use the internal amps to drive speakers, but just take a mono line out. The combination of the EQ, built-in spring reverb and effect send, plus the build quality, makes this a versatile analogue unit with a great sound. As usual with us it's a lot to do with what happens as you overdrive the inputs with synths, drum machines, drums or outputs from your DAW. Also packs a Space Echo spring reverb and has a send/return for an echo.

Condition

Has only the most minor scuffs or signs of age. The face is very clean with a few small dings on the front edge. Tolex is excellent with no noticeable damage or wear. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.

Voltage Information

120v unit (100v originally but switched to 120v operation). A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We can supply a 100va unit which will work for this mixer (if you are not using the amp to drive speakers) - see the Accessories section of the site. We do not recommend using cheap, generic Chinese mains transformers.
