Is it a rack Jupiter-8? Nope. But although it is closer electronically to a Jupiter-6, neither it is it one of those. In truth it's somewhere in between, and people who have spent time with all three tend to report that all sound substantially different. Certainly it shares physical similarities in the voice circuitry to the 6, with an added bass boost circuit and two extra voices.
Features: 8 voices, 2 VCOs, 1 VCF with LP/HP/BP modes, 2 Envelope Generators, and plenty of routing options. Additional features include Sync, Cross-Mod, Split & Layer modes, Envelope Inversion at various modulation destinations, Velocity, & Aftertouch.
Polyphony - 8 voices
Oscillators - 16 Oscillators at 2 per voice
Memory - 64 single, 64 combination
Filter - Low pass filter w/ ADSR, High pass filter
VCA - Standard ADSR
Control - MIDI
