Product Description

B Channel listing: to keep the price down we've done the minimum to this to make sure it is safe and working, but it is likely to need some use or cleaning of controls to remove crackle etc. The pitch bender on this one also needs some work as it doesn't spring back with any great urgency (but is otherwise working).

The most well-known age-related issue with the 106 is the voice chips failing. We have therefore included two extra original voice chips as spares. It is also possible to source new voice chips from Analogue Renaissance. The other work we'd recommend if/when you have access to a tech is recapping of the power supply.

The Juno-106 is a classic Roland analogue polysynth and was used extensively on Daft Punk's Random Access Memories album, Tame Impala’s Lonerism, and many many others besides - it’s an easy synth to program and can still hold its own against more modern pretenders...

Has midi on board, plus great presets - it's an ideal core synth for composing and it's no surprise to see artists like Chromeo swearing by them.

Condition

In very good cosmetic condition with some scuffs, dings and signs of age across the face. The end cheeks are clean with minimal wear. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.

Voltage Information

100v Japanese model - it will run on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

Tax

For sales in UK the price will include 20% VAT. Buyers elsewhere may incur VAT or other local taxes on import.
