Uncommon, early Roland analogue BBD chorus (not actually “digital” despite having it in the name!). Very good condition and full working order.

Product Description

This 1970s Roland chorus box obviously shares some DNA with the Boss CE-1, however they are not that similar in terms of the circuit - for example the Boss uses MN3002 chips and this uses MN3001. It's a pretty simple beast - you can't vary the speed of the chorus or hall echo (short delay) so it's really just a case of plugging in and dialling in the intensity of effect required. See below for a useful comparison video between this and the chorus in an RE-301.

Roland DC-50 Chorus for sale serviced and working well.

Condition

In very good cosmetic condition with some signs of age and wear on the face. Some of the print-work has been scratched off in places but nothing that obscures the controls. The knobs are slightly scruffy with scratches and wear. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

Voltage Information

100v Japanese model - it will run on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

Tax

For sales in UK/EU the price will include 20% VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
