Roland CR-78 from Mayfair Studios for sale in great cosmetic condition and perfect working order.
Just had a service with James Walker at Synth Repair Services and been given a clean bill of health. PAT-tested for electrical safety. Modified with a Tempo Fine Tune control - very useful for precise tempo-matching - and a carry handle!
This vintage drum machine was owned by John Hudson at Mayfair Studios and he used it on classic recordings through the 80s and 90s, including the Visage album. It sounds fantastic and everything works as it should.
Heart Of Glass, Atomic, In The Air Tonight, Same Old Scene, Enola Gay - the distinctive sound of the CR-78 has featured on hundreds of hit records: a truly iconic beatbox that still sounds good today. A historic example of a classic analogue drum machine.
