Roland AS1 Sustainer
Brand: Roland
Sorry it's gone. We may have another in stock or on the way. Please enquire below (or check our weekly Gear Update for incoming rarities).
Roland AS-1 pedal in perfect working order and excellent condition.
It sounds great and, though the effect can seem subtle at first, when used with a valve amp it really comes into its own: the optical compressor (copied from Colorsound) creates a smooth singing sustain with a hint of transistor distortion adding some bite.
The paintwork has only minor chips and the face, knobs and rubber are in excellent condition for a 40 year-old pedal (please see photos below). Aside from a replaced battery clip and some repairs to the battery clip wiring, it's all-original internally.
This is a chance to buy an excellent example of this iconic pedal.
It runs on 2 9v batteries (supplied).

“I’ve bought a number of items from Soundgas recently, and have been really impressed with their service. It takes the stress out of buying vintage gear to know it’s been properly (and faithfully) serviced or restored. Their after-sales service has also been exemplary. Highly recommended.”

“Imagine the perfect eBay.... with everything you never knew you wanted… and you can rest assured that your vintage and rare wobbly sound device will turn up on time and in one piece and possibly in even better condition that when it left the workshop. Soundgas - literally amazing."
