Publison DHM 89 B2 Stereo Pitch Shifter for sale - we are brokering this on behalf of the owner. See a short demo of the Publison in use below.

It is located in Switzerland and is currently in good working order having last been serviced in 2022 for the owner, however in our extensive experience with these units, shipping may well cause issues that will require further work.
We are therefore offering three options/prices on this unit:
1. Sold as seen, no warranty; we advise that only customers who could collect in person from Switzerland, and/or who have access to a tech experienced with Publisons select this option. Neither Soundgas nor the owner accept any liability if this option is selected.
2. USA customers: ships direct to a respected US tech who will thoroughly check the unit and carry out any work he regards as required before onward shipping to the buyer. Any import taxes/fees/duty are chargeable to the buyer. Service and onward shipping costs from the tech are included in the sale price.
3. UK customers: VAT is chargeable. Soundgas will import the unit and assess/service/repair as necessary before onward shipping to the buyer. Service and onward shipping costs from the tech are included in the sale price.

Amazing, high quality digital delay and pitch shifter that dates from around 1983. These were state of the art in the 80s and remain unparalleled today. Notoriously tricky to work on as schematics are not available and most of the (very many) chips have had their id removed. The intent was to protect Publison's IP but the end result today is that barely any techs are able to service and repair these wondrous beasts reliably.
There are three modes selected by green push buttons:
“DELAY” - up to 1.2s depending on settings.
“PITCH-SHIFTER” - wild stereo pitch shifting
“MEMORY LATCH” - with this you freeze the memory buffer which then is looped. You can select start and end-point of this loop with the crosspoint pots. The sample reverses if you turn the right pot less wide than the left one.
