In superb cosmetic condition and perfect working order. The Prophet 5 has been fully overhauled with the final stages of the work being completed by James Walker.
NOTE: Photos are of the item for sale. This unit is currently in the final stages of being overhauled and will be available to ship within 10 days of purchase.
CONDITION: In excellent overall cosmetic condition. The face is superb with minimal signs of age or wear. The woodwork is excellent with some very minor wear around the edges. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
Work has been done not just to get the instrument playing and sounding fantastic, but also to make it quieter in operation, more stable and less power-hungry. This incliudes:
- A full service of all pots and keys
- Minor faults fixed as needed
- Silent toroidal transformer installed
- Power supply smoothing capacitors & diodes replaced
- Power regulators replaced with new units and flexible leads to the PCB
- EPROMS replaced
