PEARL SYNCUSSION SY-1

A superb example of our favourite drum synth: a Pearl Syncussion SY-1 for sale serviced and in perfect working order.

Comes with the original carry case, drums for triggering it still in their original box, power supply and some of the original paperwork.

The condition is excellent / near mint: there's barely a mark on it with only one ding to the casing visible from the front – please see the detailed photos to assess it for yourself: it doesn't look to have ever been near a drummer. The plastic case is in fair condition with various tears along the edges but still functional. The drums have seen some use but both skins are intact.

Serviced by James Walker at Synth Repair Services, and also modified for separated outputs on a TRS jack (unmodified the output of the two channels are mixed - this definitely improves the creative possibilities of the unit).

These are stunning and powerful drum synths: trigger via a drum pad, drum machine or output from your DAW. Check the Youtube demo below of the another one we sold. We love these and have two in the studio which we trigger from our 808. The low end on a Syncussion leaves the 808 seeming a tad weedy…

Power supply is a 100v Japanese one – it will need a transformer for use in the UK/EU, or you can use a 240v version of the transformer: it uses a 12v DC 300ma, centre negative unit - we can supply one if required.

There are currently no known operational faults with this unit - some crackle may be possible when the unit has not been used for some time - this should clear with use.
