PEARL SYNCUSSION SY-1 + pads & stands

Our favourite drum synth: the excellent Pearl Syncussion SY-1 offered here serviced and in perfect working order, modified for individual outputs, and complete with drum pads and stands.

It has some damage to the casing (past interaction with an angry drummer?) – one corner broken off the composite ‘wood’ surround, but this doesn’t affect the performance. Rare to find with drum pads and stands for both the drums and the Syncussion itself.

Apart from the broken corner of the case, the condition is very good – a few minor chips and scuffs – please see the detailed photos to assess it for yourself. The drums have definitely seen some use – one pad has two holes in the surface, although both still work perfectly (and of course the Syncussion can be triggered by various other sources).

These are stunning and powerful drum synths: trigger via a drum pad, drum machine or output from your DAW. Check the Youtube demo below of the last one we sold. We love these and have two in the studio which we trigger from our 808. The low end on a Syncussion leaves the 808 seeming a tad weedy…

Power supply is a 100v Japanese one – it will need a transformer for use in the UK/EU, or you can source a 240v version of the transformer: it uses a 12v DC 300ma, centre negative unit.

There are currently no known operational faults with this unit – some crackle may be possible when the unit has not been used for some time – this should clear with use.
