Product Description
Very good condition. Full working order following a deep Soundgas overhaul. Complete with our own custom foot switch which replicates the C-100 Opti-pot.
The hours and love put into this are not visible from a simple photo: new socketed ribbon cables (future reliability/ease of servicing); IEC power socket. We put in a great deal of work so this will be reliable for the next decade or two.
DESCRIPTION
Mu-Tron Bi-Phase for sale following a deep Soundgas overhaul.
Supplied with our custom double switch. This has an expression pedal socket so you can access the phaser sweep capability that normally requires the rare C-100 Opti-pot (knob on the side allows you to adjust the sweep range).
For UK/European buyers we will replace the internal transformer so it runs on 220/240v supplies.
We have to go deep on these to do our best to keep them running including fitting new socketed ribbon cables (future reliability/ease of servicing)Fully recapped and ready for the next decade or two.
We love a Bi-Phase (it’s in our top three phasers for sure) and we’re not alone: not only are they a staple effect of many dub reggae producers (Lee Perry most notably), but they’re widely-used with guitars/synths/keys etc in a wide variety of genres. A truly legendary effect, essentially it is two of Mike Beigel’s optical phaser circuits (aka the Phasor II) in one housing, with ability to route the output of one through the other, and link, or not, the sweep rates. Note that you can also use each phaser separately.
