Product Description
Mutron Biphase for sale.
We have to go deep on these to do our best to keep them running including fitting new socketed ribbon cables (future reliability/ease of servicing). Recapped and with an IEC power socket added. Like many older pieces, they now require a great deal of work to remain reliable for the next decade or two.
Supplied with an original footswitch and our custom double switch. The custom footswitch has an expression pedal socket so you can access the phaser sweep capability that normally requires the rare C-100 Opti-pot (knob on the side allows you to adjust the sweep range). Note we are waiting for more of these to be made for us - you can see a photo of one above though. This may delay shipping but we will keep you updated.

We love a Bi-Phase (it's in our top three phasers for sure) and we're not alone: not only are they a staple effect of many dub reggae producers (Lee Perry most notably), but they're widely-used with guitars/synths/keys etc in a wide variety of genres. A truly legendary effect, essentially it is two of Mike Beigel's optical phaser circuits (aka the Phasor II) in one housing, with ability to route the output of one through the other, and link, or not, the sweep rates. Note that you can also use each phaser separately.
