Market Electronics (Maestro) Echoplex EP-2 for sale.


Just back from spending some quality time with our experienced tape echo tech - it's sounding as good as it looks. Cartridge has been rewound with fresh tape so it's good to go.


The sound of a well-restored EP-2 is quite something: I sold my EP-3 and Fulltone TTE when I found a good EP-2 (though in fairness I wasn't gigging - the Fulltone is probably the better bet for a gigging musician). 


Please note that when run in countries with mains supply at 50Hz (like the UK/EU) as opposed to the 60Hz in North America, there is some hum from the motor – this is a physical hum rather than audio and does not affect the operation of the machine.

Condition

<span class="s1">Condition is excellent - pretty exceptional for one of these for sure. Case has a few scuffs and dings but is really good for the age. Metal surfaces inside have some minor scratches and low level oxidation but are similarly clean.</span>

Voltage Information

110v model. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

Tax

For sales in UK the price will include 20% VAT. Buyers elsewhere may incur VAT or other local taxes on import.
