PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Rare, late 60s germanium fuzz pedal. These were produced under a few different names including Orpheum Fuzz, Clark Fuzz and Wurlitzer Fuzzer Buzzer – this one was originally sold by Manny’s Music, West 48th St, New York.

Important note: this is a clearance item at a reduced price. It’s been worked on but since then we’ve not had time to use it (or sell it!) so it may be that it needs some minor work to get the best out of it. It is however serviced and functional.

European buyers have the standard 14 days right of return with this item, however there is no further warranty.

Serviced and sounding great/vicious (depending on what you like!). Transistors are very early silicon examples. In worn cosmetic condition with oxidation showing up across the pedal. The perspex on the top of the unit is cracked around the controls but this does not affect the functioning of the unit. See detailed photos for more information on cosmetic condition. The only fuzz pedal that doubles up as a handy mirror for reflecting back your best guitar face, or for more illicit uses…

Brief demo with Strat below – let us know if you want to hear more…

For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number – please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.

Manny’s Fuzz. Or as IOS auto correct would have it, Nanny’s Fuzz. Good old Nan: she was a gnarly old bird.
