Maestro Rhythm King MRK-2
1960s/70s classic in excellent working order.
The MRK-2 is almost identical to the MRK-1 but has the addition of a tone control and minor changes to the rhythms available.
Serviced and working well. Great sound - heard on countless classic records. It was a Maestro Rhythm King used by Sly Stone on “There’s A Riot Going On” and many more besides. Beck loves his. Love the sound that comes out of this; these old beatboxes seem to sound more ‘human’…
CONDITION: In excellent cosmetic condition with minor wear and signs of age to the face. The case is very clean with some dings to the edges and corners. Footswitch is not original and is now attached via a jack socket on the rear (but you still need it connected to operate the unit). The fixed audio cable has also been removed and replaced with a jack socket (tucked just inside the rear compartment). See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
