LOMO 19A13 Microphone
Late 60s Soviet valve/tube condenser microphone which is regularly compared to the likes of the Neumann U47/U48 or AKG C12.
One of several vintage Soviet mics we currently have for sale on behalf of Matthew Herbert, who has this to say about it:
"The rarest of them all. Killer vocal mic. Very special. Only ever seen one other for sale in 20 years. Will never see one again I suspect."
Undoubtedly incredibly rare and sought after; discussed in hallowed tones on many forums and found in some very heavy recording studios.
Working well. All original inside; capsule in excellent condition.
Complete with original power supply and all leads. Power connector has been modded to a 3-pin (XLR) connector.
CONDITION: very good - some signs of age as you would expect but nothing serious.
According Matthew, the original cradle for this mic was not sufficient for keeping it safe and his tech designed and built a new one to hold it instead.
