Superb 70s digital delay. In full working order - overhauled for us by a top engineer.

Great information about these units here on this page (including manuals etc).

In very good cosmetic condition with the wear on the face only showing around the edges. The top of the unit has some rack rash but nothing major. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

FULL SERVICE REPORT:

  • Unit cleaned internally/externally
  • Unit visually inspected – unit has previously been recapped
  • Unit powered on isolated mains supply – front panel responding, no audio, all VU LEDS illuminated
  • Fault traced to failed AD561 DAC IC – new part sourced and fitted
  • Unit powered and passed audio but severe distortion
  • Failed Op-Amp in successive approximation gain control circuit – op amp replaced – signal clean
  • Excessive pops on switching Phase Inversion switches – traced to leaky op amps on main board
  • All CMOS MUX and Dual & Single Op-Amp ICs replaced as a precaution (around 30 in total)
  • Unit running well bar noisy/intermittent sliders and intermittent indexed delay controls
  • Front panel removed
  • All front panel mounting hardware removed and front panel pcb assembly removed from chassis
  • All sliders cleaned with DeoxIT, pcb edge connectors, delay control wafer switches & display window cleaned
  • Front panel assembly cleaned and reassembled
  • All functions tested present
  • Unit soak tested for several hours
