Keio Minipops MP-7 - SN 70100

In superb condition, freshly serviced by us and ready to ship, this Keio Minipops MP-7 is a classic vintage analogue drum machine from the early 1970s. Built by Keio Electronic Laboratories (who later became Korg), the MP-7 is part of the legendary wooden-box rhythm machine era - warm, punchy, and packed with character.

Most famously used by Jean Michel Jarre for the signature beats on Oxygene (amongst others) - the Minipops 7 remains one of our absolute favourite beat boxes.

It's a 100v unit so requires a step-down transformer for UK/EU use.

Condition

Superb overall condition with only minor signs of wear across the unit. This can be seen on the faceplate as there are a few slight scratches. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information.

Voltage Information

It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
